    @blackopaldirect That’s silly. NOVA wheels can certainly be used on harder stones. Of course they wear out, eventually, but that is to be expected.

    Yes the nova wheels are mainly for opal. they will wear out if you use harder gemstones on them and they are expensive. I hope this helps.

    What an interesting video! Are the Nova wheels used specifically on opals? I’m interested in lapidary, but am pretty clueless right now :)

    ok great Justin! look forward to the tumbling! when you can get around to it! i would pay 4 view as it dose cost money buying expensive cameras not to mention time and effort it takes to do the videos ! maybe you should run workshops on working with Opals ! LoL just an idea…

    top video very professional ! not to mention the beautiful opal you worked with! i take it the nova wheels are expensive ? would be great if you do a video on rock tumbling opal plenty of vids on you tube showing tumbling but not Opal. Would really like some pro tips on how to do the tumbling well. Thanks 4 posting really got some good tips from watching this,
